Lesson Policies

 
  • All lessons must be paid in full prior to the start of each lesson. Lessons may be paid by cash, check, via Venmo (@Blaize-Collard) or via Zelle (info@blaizecollard.com)

    Lessons may be prepaid up to any amount of lessons. Prepaid lessons will be marked as such in Google Calendar (see ‘Scheduling’ policies below)

  • Blaize will work with the student to decide on a specific weekly time slot for lessons. This time slot will not be offered or given to any other student.

    Blaize uses Google Calendar for scheduling. The student will receive a Google Calendar invite with all necessary information, including a Google Meet link for online students.

    Students are responsible for being on time to their lessons; any time lost due to a student’s tardiness is considered forfeit unless previously discussed with Blaize.

  • Blaize requires at least 24-hours notice for any cancellation or reschedule request. Lessons cancelled within 24 hours must still be paid in full by the student.

    If a request is given to Blaize with at least 24 hours notice, Blaize will work with the student on rescheduling the lesson to another date and/or time.

    In the event that Blaize must reschedule a lesson due to gigs/travel/etc., Blaize will work with the student to find another day and/or time for the lesson.

  • Blaize kindly asks for at least two weeks notice from students that wish to unenroll themselves from lessons.

  • Student Materials: It is recommended that students bring their own sticks and ear protection / headphones, however a set of “community” sticks and headphones will be available if necessary.

    Covid-19: Blaize is fully vaccinated and boosted. Masks are encouraged but not required during in-person lessons.
